Let's try this Pokemon White Run again... This time, we'll drop the permadeath rule, but keep the "Catch one from each region."  Or rather, use one for each region; I still want to fill out the dex somewhat so I don't miss bonuses. I think there's a lesson here of matching one's self-imposed challenges to one's needs, rather than putting a one-size-fits-all approach. Also, I'm using Tepig as a starter this time; no dice rolling.

So... tried out a Nuzlocke challenge on Pokemon White.  Everything died at Gym #1.  I am pathetic at this.

So... Pokemon X and Y are out, but I'm not shelling out for them until I've secured a new paycheck source.  In the meantime, I'm thinking about putting myself through a Nuzlocke challenge on my copy of White.  Don't have a capture device, so any updates would probably be in text form.  None of my watchers (what few I have) would probably be interested in reading how it goes. Still, while I'm not much of a fan of Permadeath (Fire Emblem notwithstanding) the rule about only catching the first new pokemon in each area would solve a problem I have sometimes.  The very abundance of choice in potential party members makes it hard for me to stick w

I don't know about you, but when I first hear a song that I really like, I tend to play it on loop for days on end.  And when I get tired of that, I look up remixes and covers, put them all in a playlist, and then put that on loop for another week, at least.
